Parco Museum Shibuya - Identity Redesign
Project Type: Speculative / Self-Initiated

A rebranding proposal for PARCO Museum Shibuya, reflecting its role within Shibuya’s diverse and ever-evolving cultural landscape. Located in one of Tokyo’s most dynamic districts, the museum operates as a platform for exchange — where local and international influences intersect, shaping new urban cultural narratives. The identity is developed with a contemporary yet distinctly Japanese visual language. Subtle references to traditional elements are integrated into a simplified structure, creating a balance between cultural specificity and modern clarity. A modular and restrained layout system allows the logo to adapt across a wide range of contexts, responding to the museum’s frequently changing exhibitions and programs. The design positions the museum as both a cultural mediator and an active contributor to urban development — supporting ongoing dialogue between audiences, artists, and the city itself.
